Have you Ever...?...Had a Flipped Class? We Will Have one Next Week!

Tuesday 21st October, 2014

Hello kids! How’s everything? Are you fine?

Let’s work a bit…
You did homework but except Lucía, I think you didn’t understand very well. So, let’s explain how to make present perfect.

“Perfect” means that we use “have”. And “present” means we use the present tense: “I have, you have, he has etc.”
So, we use present of “have” + the verb ending in –ed (participle of regular verbs) or the third form of our list of irregular verbs.
To sum up:
Present perfect ------------------Have/has + -ed / or 3rd form of the list

I hope this is a bit (a little) clearer. Anyway, we’ll continue with our interviews!

You can do this exercise to help you.
 Exercise - Present Perfect

Do you like Kate Perry? If we have time next week we will listen to her "Fireworks" Because we use "Fireworks" in celebrations

We talked about our next class? ‘Flipped class’! Next week, after the break we are going to change classes and positions! You are going to be the teachers of other students. So, you have to prepare the class for them. I will help you during the first hour.
As next week is Halloween, you have to teach the other students words related to Halloween. Your ideas were: playing games related to Halloween. Teaching vocabulary. Telling horror stories. Making masks or decorations. Doing crosswords and quizzes with questions and answers.
You had lots of ideas. We even distributed tasks. Marcos and Alicia are in charge of games. Guille & María are in charge of questions and answers for the quiz. Lucía, Sara And Alex will make or search for crosswords and different worksheets. I think it was like this, wasn’t it?

Don’t forget to prepare the class! It’s very important and it’s this week’s homework!!!
Apart from this, Guille  has to translate into Spanish several lines from a photocopy I gave him. It’s not a punishment! It’s information for him because he thought I wasn’t telling the truth! And one of you has to start writing a story on the blog. I can’t remember who, I think it’s María …You start with several lines and next day, another student will continue the story…After 7 weeks, we will read the story in class!
