Our Last Weekend and Dates!

Tuesday 30th September, 2014

Hello again!

What did we do last Tuesday?
We started talking about our previous weekend. But we did it in a funny way!

You had to prepare five questions in the past and interview your partners. We made it into (transform) a TV show where one of you was the presenter and the other student was the guest (the one who was invited). Then, we swapped! (changed! The presenter was the guest and the guest  became the presenter)
We started like this:

“Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen and welcome to our show! This week’s question is: “What did you do last weekend?” I’d like to introduce our first guess. His/her name is… Welcome …. So, tell us,
·         Where did you go last weekend?
·         Who did you go with?
·         What did you eat on Saturday?
·         What did you have for dinner on Friday?
·         Did you go out?
·         Did you go away? (to your village, to the “Sierra”?)
Etc.

I could see you still don’t know ordinal numbers very well. Practice on this link, please! Ordinal numbers

Then we played a game. Guillermo picked out (selected) a card and he had to give clues and define the word on the card. He was very good at it. The A-team was the winner!

For homework, look up (in the dictionary) 5 words related to weddings and write five sentences with them.

Finally, we started our Games! I gave you points for doing homework, for the Definitions’ Game and for your participation in class. And this was the score:

GAME 1

See you next Monday!
Have a nice week!

Don’t forget to do homework if you want 2 extra points! Player 5, this goes for you!
